Over the dune along the road lies a beach, which used to be covered with fine pink sand
, created by fish. A hurricane unfortunately washed the sand away and a stony beach with some sandy patches remains. The swim to the reef is long and the drop-off about 9mtr/30ft deep. The top 6mtr/18ft are the most lively along this reef, offering a lot of hard- and soft corals and colorful fish species. In the sand you may encounter rays and often dolphins are passing by.
