Entry and exit can be a little tricky because of waves and this site can have moderate to strong currents. The shallows offer large elkhorn corals and lots of soft coral growth. This is again a good site to look out for sea turtles, lobsters, crabs and eels. The reef itself is dense and lively.
- In the deep, outside the reef and south of the buoy, there are some ballast stones. These are smooth, rounded stones that originally came from freshwater rivers. Some people mistake them for old cannonballs.
