During a dive, problems may still occur despite our best efforts to prevent them. You will learn how to manage different types of problem scenarios during the Rescue Diver course. Avert panic and know how to handle emergency situations.

During the course you will learn:
How to rely on yourself when faced with trouble
What to do in a (medical) emergency
Recognize divers in distress and know how to respond
Help panicked or unresponsive divers
To participate in the course you must have passed the Emergency First Response course (or active status EFR <24 months)
This course takes two days to complete
The Rescue Diver course helps
Learn how to help panicked or distressed divers while enjoying the stunning scenery. You start with learning how to approach, transport, and help a distressed diver back onto shore. Additionally, you will learn essential First Aid techniques such as mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions. As there is plenty of time to admire our underwater world during training, there’s no better place than Bonaire to become a Rescue Diver.
